During my time at BYU-Idaho I took several classes on marketing. My favorite class was the Integrated Business Core, or IBC. This class was one semester long and was a combination of marketing, finance, supply chain, and organizational behavior classes. As we learned more about these subjects, we also created a business that we ran for the semester. Our success in the class was not just class work, but also how well our business ran.

I was voted by my peers to become the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for our company. I was in charge of creating a brand, marketed our business, and were successful. At the end of the semester we were praised for the best branding in the history of IBC. These are some of the advertisements and promotions we did to market the business. I came up with the brand, or the logo, Skid the Squirrel, and the other characters we used. I also implemented the marketing strategy for our company. We worked with a graphic design class to help us with these advertisements and to discuss strategies we would like to use with marketing our company.
